What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a Marketing funnel? Why is it important for every marketer to have one?

It's a strategy for marketing that you employ to persuade prospective customers to purchase your products. It's a selling process where a visitor comes to your blog to seek information that could help solve the issue. You can build a relationship through specific tools.

This will allow you to understand the customers' requirements. This will help you to provide the most accurate information to all your users. Once you gain the trust of a potential customer the person will be more comfortable purchasing products. The customer will then turn into a customer.

At some point, many customers turn into very loyal customers who are ready to buy any item that you promote on your site. A marketing funnel is comprised of the various steps of the sales process it takes to convert a regular visitor to your website to an extremely loyal customer who is willing to purchase everything you throw at them.

This is the main objective of every internet marketer. It is achievable with a well-designed funnel.

Your marketing efforts are grabbing people's attention, and drawing them to your funnel. When they fill out the forms on your PERSONAL Lead Capture Page they enter the funnel. Since no one will sign up on your company's lead capture page. I have declared it "personal". They are looking to become a leader, and not a company.

Lead capture pages serve as the gateway to the funnel. When they click "Signup Now" or "Enter There" and they'll be able to be entering a brand new world of marketing via network.

The best thing is that they're competent to perform the task. It's their choice. You've sold them nothing, other than yourself as a leader, a mentor, and as someone that can show them how to get more leads and more money into their business.

This is how a standard funnel functions.

The "front-end", you can create a free offer that can draw and attract prospective customers who may be interested in buying your product further in the sales funnel. To receive your product for free, join (also called opt-in) and give your name and email address. In turn you'll add them to your email list.

Now that you have the contacts on your email, you can send related offers to them.

They will be taken to the page with an offer for a lower price or what is called a trip wire deal immediately after signing up for the free offer. This is when they'll be taken to the "back-end" of your funnel.

If they buy the low priced offer then they'll be taken to a different offer with a higher cost (normally called an upsell). And if the person also purchases the higher-priced offer, they will again be transferred to the next product with a higher price. This process can continue for several years.
